City Under-18s slipped to a 2-0 at Milton Keynes Dons this afternoon.

John Clayton including several first-years in his team, plus trialist goalkeeper Jason Hull, and the home side proved to strong.

Goals in either half clinched all three points for the Dons, with City enjoying much of the possession but lacking a cutting edge.

Coach John Clayton said: "The reserve team in the week contained a majority of Under-18s, so I had to shake the team up a bit today.

"We controlled the game but there was nothing in the final third."

City Under-18s: Hull; Edwards, Williams, Holloway, Boon; Hennessey (Livings 46), Kington, Dunn, Neagle (Lennox 46); Jackson (McClennan 70), Stambolziev.
