CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH
Gary Johnson is happy with his selection options for Saturday's trip to Sheffield United.
At his pre-match press conference, the City manager reported Nicky Maynard, Michael McIndoe, Louis Carey and Marvin Elliott had all returned to training today.
Nicky had to withdrawn through injury at half-time in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Plymouth, while the other three failed pre-match fitness tests.
However, all four are now available for selection when City play their tenth Coca-Cola Championship match of the season at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
Another boost came in the form of Jamie McCombe's return to full training today, although fans will have to wait a little longer for the first-team return of the big defender.
Gary said: "Jamie will take a little while to get back up to match sharpness, as today was on his first contact training session. He headed the ball okay, although we haven't got anyone of his size to be able to jump and cause him any problems!
"Jamie will probably play against Swansea in the reserves next week."
Steve Brooker (Achilles) and Christian Ribeiro (knee ligament) remain the only two injured absentees from training, although the former has undergone a scan and shouldn't be sidelined for too much longer.
