Gary Johnson is waiting on a final morning training session before he selects his starting eleven to face Plymouth Argyle at Ashton Gate tomorrow (7.45pm).

The City boss says a few players have been left with "slight knocks" following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Wolves, so he will leave it late to name his team.

At his pre-match press conference, Gary told bcfc.co.uk: "We're getting the players in for a morning training session to see how they are and work on some shape.

"A few of the lads took knocks on Saturday and we'll have to see how they are before we pick the team [to face Plymouth]."

Chris Weale held his hands up over the opening goal at Wolves, and Gary admits it's another game where he faces a tricky decision over who should start between the sticks.

The boss added: "As I said on Saturday, Chris made some fine saves in the match [at Wolves]. Obviously he has admitted his error for the goal and apologised to the lads.

"I have to judge whether that has affected his confidence before deciding who I play in goal tomorrow night."
