City Reserves snatched a point as Ashley Kington's last-gasp goal earned a 1-1 draw against Swansea City in the totesport.com Combination this evening.

Joe Allen's 60th minute strike looked to have handed the home side at Port Talbot victory, but youngster Kington popped up in stoppage time to draw City level.

City had chances in the first period, with David Noble, John Akinde and Joe Edwards all going close, while Stephen Henderson had little to do at the other end.

But on the hour Swansea broke the deadlock, Allen lashing a sweet 20-yard shot beyond Henderson for 1-0.

Almost immediately Trundle, playing against his old club, hit the upright from just inside the box. The striker, who scored as a substitute against Birmingham 24 hours earlier, was withdrawn with 12 minutes to go.

Swansea looked to be ending the stronger of the two teams; Henderson pulling off a great stop to deny Casey Thomas and then Daniel Sheehan's shot clipping the crossbar with time ticking away.
