Jennison Myrie-Williams is poised to join Carlisle United on loan, despite just returning to Ashton Gate after a one-month stint with Cheltenham Town.

The winger was back training with City today, having spent time away at Whaddon Road - where he played five games and scored once.

But John Ward, who was manager of Cheltenham last season when Jennison also spent time at Whaddon Road on loan, is now keen to take the youngster to his new club Carlisle United.

Gary Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: "John is a big fan of Jennison and wants to take him on loan at Carlisle.

"Jennison is a little way down the pecking order currently for us, and needs to be playing games. This will be a good move for him because Carlisle are doing well at the moment."
