Marvin Elliott will make his comeback from a knee injury in this evening's Combination match with Bournemouth at Ashton Gate.

The midfielder played for 50 minutes in a practice match at the end of last week, but is now set to step up his rehabilitation with an outing for the reserves this evening (kick-of 7pm).

New recruit John Akinde is also set to start the game.

Season card holders and members gain free entry to the game on production of their cards - while every else pays £2 adults and £1 concessions.

City lost their first Combination game of the season 4-2 at Forest Green, before beating Southampton 4-2 in the Combination Cup.

City Reserves: Weale; Walker, Webster, Wilkinson, Edwards; Murray, Elliott, Williams, Sproule; Brooker, Akinde. Subs: Bradley, Jackson, Kington, Williams.
