GUNNERS KIDS PROVE TOO STRONG
City Under-18s suffered their first defeat of the season as Arsenal ran out comfortable 4-0 winners in the FA Premier Academy League on Saturday.
John Clayton's youngsters had beaten Stoke 7-1 and drawn with Sheffield United before this big test against the London giants in the capital.
And despite holding the Gunners kids to a goalless first half, a four-goal avalanche in 22 second half minutes gave the final result a rather one-sided look.
City are next in action on Saturday away at Southampton.
City Under-18s: Bradley; Edwards, Williams, Dunn, Boon; Lennox (Livings 70), Kington, Hennessey, Stambolziev (Neagle 75), McClennan (Rubbins 70); Jackson.
