SUPPORT SHOWS FAITH - GARY

Posted on: Fri 05 Sep 2008

Gary Johnson has praised the club's support after sales of club memberships topped the 2,000-mark.

City's support continues to grow and grow with the new membership scheme launched on the back of record season card sales of 13,530.

The City boss told bcfc.co.uk: "It shows great faith from our supporters in the club; the chairman, manager and players.

"It certainly pulls on your heart strings when the fans hand over their hard-earned cash and in return we want to entertain them.

"All you can do is try and succeed playing the right way and I think over the last few years the fans have enjoyed our brand of football.

"We really appreciate their support and will continue to do so."

Among other benefits, members save pounds off general sale admission to league games and jump ahead of the queue for the biggest games at Ashton Gate. Prices start from £5 under-16s - see here for more details.

Currently, members can buy tickets ahead of non-members for the Norwich City and Sheffield United home games In October; and they will be next in line, after season card holders, for City's trip to Wolves on September 27th.

And only members, together with season card holders, can accrue loyalty through use of their smart cards - this loyalty will be used to decide ticket priority for selected games in the future.
