Cole Skuse is delighted to be playing first-team football again - even if it's to get away from wedding planning!

The 22-year-old midfielder will marry his fiancée Louisa Price in June 2010 but the build-up has already started.

Cole tells Well Red: "As far as my involvement in the planning goes, let's just say I'm one of those who will perform on the day. The build-up has been left to her and if I got involved everything would be wrong.

"I was a bit of a victim of the team's success last season, with the midfield playing so well, the team performing brilliantly and injuries were few and far between.

"It's swings and roundabouts, however, because Marvin Elliott's been unlucky with his knee injury and that's given me my opportunity. Some person's luck is often another's downfall.

"I feel I got a good pre-season in, came back strongly from the summer break and now I want to continue on from there."
