MARVIN RATED BIG DOUBT
Marvin Elliott is expected to miss City's season opener at Blackpool on Saturday due to a knee injury.
The midfielder missed the club's final pre-season warm-up game versus Royal Antwerp on Friday with the problem, and is now likely to be absent for the Bloomfield Road match this weekend.
Manager Gary Johnson told bcfc.co.uk today: "Marvin's probably got less than a 50/50 chance of playing against Blackpool at this moment in time.
"The knee is causing him problems and we're having to keep a close eye on it. We're actually going to send him for a scan to check it's nothing too serious."
Scott Murray is already ruled out of City's first Championship game of the season due to a broken wrist, while Jordan Walker is out with a leg problem suffered in training.
Gary added: "Aside from Scott, Jordan and of course Marvin, everyone else is expected to be fit to travel."
