Key boardroom moves have today been announced by Bristol City FC, linked to changes to the business structure and key responsibilities for the Club's executive directors.

Talking about the changes, City chairman Steve Lansdown explained: "Colin Sexstone is heavily involved as the Board's representative and lead Director for all actions connected with the new stadium development as well as the new training ground project and I have asked Colin to concentrate his efforts in these key areas. In addition, he will maintain day-to-day control of Football and Academy administration and continue to front and extend the Club's media profile. He will remain the Group Chief Executive.

"As a result, I'm delighted to say that Doug Harman has agreed to take on additional responsibilities and has been promoted to the role of Group Managing Director and will sit on the Bristol City Holdings Limited and Bristol City Football Club Boards as well as Ashton Gate Limited. Doug will assume control of the finance department plus IT support and all matchday arrangements, and will retain his current responsibilities for the commercial, retail, media and ticketing operations.

"Finally, Group Finance Director, Roger Pearce has decided to retire at the end of August after 11-years with the Club. Roger was my first appointment at the Club and has provided invaluable support during his time with us and we wish him 'all the best' for the future."

At this stage the Board has made no decision on the recruitment of a new Finance Director.
