KEOGH ON TRIAL AT DONNY
Richard Keogh played 72 minutes for Doncaster Rovers in their pre-season friendly at Port Vale.
Reported interest from Southend has seemingly come to nothing, but Keogh has now gone on trial at Doncaster, according to the club's official website.
City still hold the defender's registration after offering him a new deal this summer and would be due compensation from any potential switch to Doncaster as Keogh is under-24.
Doncaster, who were promoted to the Coca-Cola Championship via the play-offs last season, are back in action on Friday night at home to Bolton Wanderers.
Chairman Steve Lansdown said on Sunday that Keogh is unlikely to play for City again after the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international failed to respond to the club's contract offer and failed to return for pre-season training.
