Alan Maybury will turn out for City at Hereford United this evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

The unattached defender will line-up in a youthful looking back four for City's fifth pre-season friendly.

Maybury, 29, last played for Aberdeen on loan after leaving Leicester City. The Republic of Ireland full back also had spells at Leeds United and Hearts - where he played with Jamie McAllister.

Gary Johnson says he is just having a look at Maybury - capped ten times for his country.

Steve Brooker and Lee Trundle will form the strike partnership.

Jamie McCombe is ruled out with a shin problem.

City (probable): Basso; Maybury, Ribeiro, J.Wilson, Walker; Murray, Betsy, B.Wilson, Plummer; Brooker, Trundle.

City fans will be situated in the Cargill Stand tonight, where seating and terrace options are available priced:-
