City supporters wishing to take part in the new FREE Championship Fantasy Football League should do as soon as possible to be ready for the new season.

The new Football League scheme, sponsored by Texaco, offers fans the chance to build an online fantasy team made up completely of Coca-Cola Championship players.

And there are some fantastic prizes on offer, with the top honour nationally collecting a £500 fuel voucher - perfect in today's climate, a signed shirt from a chosen Championship side and tickets to the play-off final.

More fuel vouchers are up for grabs for runners-up, and also those in the private league championship - and there's even a special bcfc.co.uk league for supporters to join (see below).

Registration is completely FREE, there are no hidden costs. And it's easy to play too, with full rules on the website.

Essentially each 'fantasy manager' gets £10m to spend on Championship players. The squad can be selected in 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 formations, and no more than three players from any one team can be included in the XI.

City fans wishing to join the private bcfc.co.uk league should choose the 'private league' option once registered and set-up. The pin number is 80. The winner of the bcfc.co.uk league will receive a signed club shirt!
