NO INCREASE FOR MATCH TICKETS
City have announced there will be no increase in home league ticket prices at Ashton Gate for the 2008/09 season.
But there will be a change in the way admission is charged - with the "advanced" and "matchday" prices being replaced in favour of a "members" and "general sale" price.
Chairman Steve Lansdown told bcfc.co.uk: "Last season we set the prices appropriately to raise the revenue required to challenge in the Championship and we did that successfully.
"We've had a great response from supporters for season tickets ahead of the new campaign and hopefully we'll have similar for the membership scheme.
"The matchday price has to be at the right level and we've listened to feedback from our supporters. Although they may have come as a shock last season, we felt they were priced right and see no reason to change that ahead of the new campaign."
He added: "There will only be a limited number of match tickets available for home games this year and hopefully they will be snapped up quickly by members, ensuring a full house for all our matches at Ashton Gate. If that is the case then the twelfth man that Gary Johnson regularly talks about will be a force."
The Wedlock Stand will be populated every home game by 1,250 season ticket holders and in non-cup games will be used as an overflow area once more.
