NUMBER ONE FOR A REASON

Posted on: Wed 11 Jun 2008

bcfc.co.uk has already been voted number one website in the Football League interactive set-up - but it also topped the charts throughout May.

Beating off competition from promoted sides West Brom, Hull City and Nottingham Forest - City's official website topped the table for both monthly unique users and page impressions during the all-important month of May.

A record figure of 3.4m hits was recorded last month, spread between 235,100 unique users - another all-time high for bcfc.co.uk.

The previous best was 146,442 unique users and 2.2m hits in March 2008.

The latest stats also eclipse the likes of Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Reading - all current or former Premier League outfits in the FLi deal.

Meanwhile, Bristol City World subscribers have also received the best service around in season 2008/09.

More than 450 videos were broadcast on the online TV service during the last campaign, the largest number of clips shown through any 'World' service across the network.

And in comparison to online services from Virgin Media, BBC Sport, ITV West and Sky Sports - Bristol City World broadcast more City-related online video than all of them put together!

Remember, stick with bcfc.co.uk and Bristol City World throughout the 2008/09 for the very best, exclusive coverage of the club.

It's number one for a reason.
