Posted on: Mon 19 May 2008

Alan Wiley has been confirmed as the referee for the Coca-Cola Championship play-off final between City and Hull at Wembley.

The Staffordshire official will take charge of Saturday's showpiece match, which kicks off in London at 3pm.

Wiley will be assisted by Shaun Proctor-Green (Lincolnshire) and Glen Turner (Derbyshire); with Phil Dowd (Staffordshire) taking the mantle of fourth official. A reserve official has also been named as Alan Butler (Lancashire).

Referee's Wiley last match in charge of a City game was in 2004/05 away at Chesterfield, a match that ended in a 2-3 defeat.
