Gary Johnson says not a single City supporter should leave Ashton Gate tonight with their voice left intact.

The manager is hoping for "a cauldron of noise" and atmosphere inside the sold out stadium for this evening's Coca-Cola Championship play-off semi-final second leg with Crystal Palace.

Leading 2-1 from the first leg, City are now favourites to progress to the final at Wembley Stadium on May 24th.

But Gary told Bristol City World: "Ashton Gate needs to be a cauldron of noise. There will be 19,000 fans in our favour.

"I've said this for two years, but this group of lads will respond to that sort of support. I'm sure our fans will be our twelfth man because they've been doing it all year.

"No supporter should finish this game and still have a voice left - that includes me. It's the type of game where they do play a major part.

"Let's get Ashton Gate rocking and let's get this team through to the final."

Meanwhile, the manager says there will be no hard feelings towards Shaun Derry in tonight's second leg.

The former Leeds United midfielder, now in his second spell with the Eagles, squirted water at the City boss during Saturday's first leg at Selhurst Park.

"He's a Neil Warnock-type of player, a chip of the old block if you like," Gary added. "It wasn't a bucket of water, like it was described somewhere I read.

"We'll take it on the chin, tie, shirt and trousers and move on."

City could name an unchanged team after Gary confirmed yesterday to have a fully-fit squad to choose from.
