Michael McIndoe is determined to avoid play-off heartbreak for a second successive season.
The winger was part of Wolves' defeated play-off semi-finalists in the Coca-Cola Championship last season.
And after City booked their place in the end-of-season competition on Saturday, Michael believes he knows exactly what is needed to succeed this time around.
He told Bristol City World: "We need to turn up on the day (in the play-offs), it's that simple. We've done a lot of work over the season, but people say it's about momentum - I don't agree with it. Derby didn't have the momentum last year and went up.
"I think it's about performances on the day. At Sheffield we were good and I don't think we deserved to lose. If we play a similar game in the play-offs I think we'd win them.
"If teams want to come and play football against us in the play-offs then bring it on. We welcome any challengers and we'll be looking forward to it."
He added: "The bigger picture is we're in the play-offs. We obviously wanted automatic promotion but if you aim for the sky sometimes you can miss and hit the trees, for us that's the play-offs.
"Who thought Bristol City would be in the play-offs at the start of the season? Not many people. It's a very big positive for us."
