Gary Johnson has rung the changes for City's clash with Norwich at Ashton Gate.

The City manager has made five changes to the side that started the 2-1 defeat at Cardiff last Saturday.

David Noble, Scott Murray, Lee Johnson, Cole Skuse and Jamie McCombe all earn recalls to the starting eleven.

The outgoing players are Lee Trundle, Ivan Sproule, Marvin Elliott, Nick Carle and Tamas Vasko.

Elliott is injured so misses out completely, as does Trundle and Vasko. Carle and Sproule earn places on the bench.

Norwich name Jamie Cureton in their starting eleven - the former Bristol Rovers who has yet to net against City in professional football.

City: Basso; Orr, Carey, McCombe, McAllister; Murray, Skuse, Johnson, McIndoe; Noble; Adebola. Subs: Fontaine, Brooker, Sproule, Carle, Weale.

Norwich City: Marshall; Ostemobor, Shackwell, Pearce, Bertrand; Huckerby, Fotheringham, Russell, Pattison; Cureton, Dublin. Subs: Croft, Rigters, Gilks, Gibbs, Evans.
