ADRIANO'S HAND OF GOD
Adriano Basso says his penalty save against Watford "came from God".
The Brazilian, a devout Christian, made a super stop diving to his left to deny Darius Henderson from 12 yards in last night's 0-0 draw at Ashton Gate.
And afterwards he told Bristol City World: "That save came from God. I asked the Holy Spirit: Where is he going to kick it? He said left, I said thank you.
"It's not a joke, it's serious. I expected it to come along the ground, but he kicked it higher and I had to make sure I got a strong hand behind it.
"We prepare ourselves all the time and that's why good things are happening. We do things with passion, love and strength.
"We wanted to win but to be honest we didn't create too many chances. We must keep going and looking forward. Now we must focus on the Plymouth game."
City lead the Coca-Cola Championship by a single point from Stoke City following last night's scoreless encounter - their third straight draw.
"We definitely need to get back to winning ways this weekend," said Adriano. "Let's forget about the games that have passed.
"People says we are unbeaten in eight games. But that's gone, we mustn't think about that. The next game is the most important one we have."
