Nick Carle has completed his transfer from Turkish club Genclerbirligi to City for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder penned a three-and-a-half year deal at Ashton Gate today, alongside manager Gary Johnson and chairman Steve Lansdown.

Sydney-born Nick is unable to play in tomorrow's game with Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, but will view the match from the stands.

Nick told bcfc.co.uk: "I'm delighted it's all sorted and it's great to be here. It's exciting for me and my family."
