Bon Jovi will be performing live at Ashton Gate Stadium on Wednesday, June 25th 2008.

One of the World's greatest live rock and roll bands, Bon Jovi are hitting the UK next summer as part of their Lost Highway World Tour.

With more hits than a Google search engine, Bon Jovi are renowned for delivering state of the art stage shows, electric performances and mammoth sold out stadium concerts.

The legendary rock band - lead by namesake Jon Bon Jovi - will be visiting Bristol as part of that six-date tour, and a capacity crowd of 24,000 is already expected.

Successful throughout the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, Bon Jovi have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide.

With hits including Livin' on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name and Wanted Dead or Alive, Bon Jovi are a huge concert draw around the world.

Group chief executive Colin Sexstone told ashtongatestadium.co.uk: "We've been close to securing Bon Jovi as an act a couple of times in the past and this is a culmination of a lot of hard work.

"This is by far the biggest act we've ever had coming to Ashton Gate, and it shows the recognition the stadium has now as a venue.

"Don't forget, Bon Jovi were the act booked to open the new Wembley Stadium, which just goes to show how big they are.

"We're delighted to have Bon Jovi coming to Ashton Gate and we expect tickets to sell very quickly."

Ticket prices will range from £40 to £75, with sales beginning on Saturday, November 10th.

Sales will commence online via ashtongatestadium.co.uk, seetickets.com and ticketmaster.co.uk. Three dedicated ticket hotline numbers will also be unveiled on Monday afternoon.

Ashton Gate Stadium has held several concerts over the past six years, including Elton John, Bryan Adams, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart and The Who.
