FOUR-STAR CITY WIN IN LATVIA

Posted on: Tue 17 Jul 2007

City picked up their first win in Latvia with a 4-2 success over Olympic XI.

Phil Jevons put City in front before a quick-fire equaliser from the hosts. But Enoch Showunmi scored before the interval to restore the visitors' advantage.

Then Scott Murray netted twice after the break - both from Ivan Sproule crosses - to make it 4-1.

Stephen Henderson, making his City debut, was beaten for a second time before the end but it didn't prevent City from completing a comfortable friendly win.
