RIDE COMPLETED FOR CHARITY
City's community staff completed a gruelling two-day bike ride to raise money for the Ride Out, Read On campaign.
Russell Tanner and Jonathan Pearce - from City's Study Support Centre - were joined by friends Rob Creber and Roger Pitt.
The 205-mile cycle ride lasted 16-and-a-half hours 'in the saddle', leaving the quartet weary by the time they arrived in Land's End.
With a few thousand calories shed, the lads raised well over £1,000 so far for the Reading is Fundamental initiative.
Study Centre manager Russell told bcfc.co.uk: "We're stiff, very saddle sore but delighted to get there and back in one piece.
"We would to thank all those who have given so generously to support us including the staff and many fans of Bristol City FC."
Fans can still make donations via justgiving.com/rideoutreadon until 2nd June.
