The latest meeting of the Fans Consultative Forum took place at Ashton Gate on March 29th and bcfc.co.uk brings supporters the minutes.

Stadium managing director Doug Harman hosted the meeting, which took place in the Chairman's Lounge. Head of operations Keith Draisey was also in attendance.

NEW MEMBERS

Four new members were welcomed to the group: Alan Rimes, David Lloyd, Dave Pottier and Mike Rix.

AWAY SEASON TICKETS

The FCF wanted to know whether the club could give discount to supporters who travel on CATS coaches to all away matches during a season. Doug agreed to look into a season ticket for CATS.

The club has agreed to upgrade its ticket system during the close season, with the aim to allow season ticket holders to book their seats (for cup games, etc) from 2007/08.

Doug added the club is the process of setting up a call centre in case City reach a major final, to aid fans exiled away from Bristol. This will ensure fans have three reliable options to purchase tickets in the future: via phone, online and in person.

MEMORIAL STADIUM REDEVELOPMENT

Doug says: "We need to generate additional income through the stadium so all business aspects should be looked at."

City have already turned down a groundshare approach from Bristol Rovers, but there is a possibility that occasional Bristol rugby matches may take place at Ashton Gate next season.

The FCF raised concerns about possible negative affect to the pitch. Improvements will be made at the end of the season - good enough to host some rugby games.

MATCH VOUCHERS

An FCF member raised concerns after vouchers were handed out in earlier rounds of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, only to be left unused. Keith Draisey commented: "We recalled all vouchers for the Middlesbrough game (they were used) but if some are still out there, let us know."

POLICING

Incidents at Bristol Rovers home and away matches the Police attended a meeting with the club. A number of fans and chief executive Colin Sexstone wrote to the Police with concerns. A reply from the Police was discussed and fans will be kept informed of developments.

The Avon & Somerset Police have since set-up a section on their official website to gather feedback from fans.

For Millwall away, the two clubs are meeting regarding coach travel. At this stage no decision has been made about travel to the game.

AOB

East End - Members acknowledged that for the final few games of the season, the East End should be available to home fans to aid the atmosphere. With redevelopment a possibility soon, the FCF also felt it would give supporters one last chance to experience a match in the stand. Safety and security is crucial, the FCF also acknowledged.

At the Brentford game, 600 fans stood throughout the whole game. This is in breach of the safety certificate and the club has been reported to the Council.

Redevelopment - Doug said: "We still have planning permission and could start on the stand if a decision is reached."

Doug and Colin are looking at the plans again to see if they are still okay.

Promotion would bring extra income, around £1m from a Championship pool, plus the added boost in ticket sales, sponsorship, retails and TV money. On the other side the outgoings for new signings would also increase.

Season ticket prices - Nothing has been confirmed at present, but fans who sign up to City Foundation by May 5th will get their season ticket at this year's prices.
