City will once again be running its popular club membership scheme in the 2010/11 season - giving fans who sign up priority for future games and savings off matchday prices.

Memberships are on sale now online, by phoning the ticket office on 0871 222 66 66 (option 1) or in person at Ashton Gate.

Members will receive first priority on the best available seats for home nPower Championship fixtures - as well as being first in the queue after season card holders for away, cup and friendly tickets, plus future season card sales.

In addition, they will receive a minimum of £2 off the 'general sale' price to all league matches and use their own personalised smart card in place of matchday tickets for entry to Ashton Gate.

The smart card is used to enter the stadium and, when used to book tickets, can also track the attendance of fans home and away - ensuring the club can properly reward its most loyal fans for 'in-demand' matches. More details on how the club intends to do this for 2010/11 will be released in mid-June.

More than 2,500 supporters enrolled in the scheme last year, and group managing director Doug Harman told bcfc.co.uk: "Season card holders will continue to form the bedrock of our support and can watch first-team games at the most competitive rates.

"But we are aware there are many fans who attend regularly both home and away who cannot commit to a season card for a number of reasons.

"Memberships represent great value for those latter supporters and we have taken the decision not to increase prices for the 2010/11 season which means that members can continue to enjoy the many benefits on offer at the existing rates."

The full list of benefits are:-

- First priority on home matchday tickets, priority after season ticket holders on away or cup tickets, selected Ashton Gate events AND future season ticket sales.

- £2 saving on home matchday prices (against 'general sale' rates)

- Seats can be purchased online, as well as by phone or in person.

- Personalised members smart card - no tickets required.

- Membership of City Away Travel Service.

- Free entry to reserve games where not 'all pay'.

- Under-16s only: Signed birthday card and entry into a draw to become mascot at home and away matches.

Memberships cost £20 adults, £5 under-16s and £40 families (two adults, two children). Under-16 members will automatically become City Redz members and will be eligible for any benefits - more information on City Redz in 2010/11 will be issued in due course.

Memberships will be on sale online via bcfc.co.uk, by phone (0871 222 6666, option 1) or by visiting Ashton Gate in person.
