Bristol City 1-0 Swansea City
Adam Baker reports from Ashton Gate
Nicky Maynard bagged another late winner for City at Ashton Gate to dent Swansea's play-off chances.
In a low-key battle, Maynard lit up Ashton Gate to snatch all three points with a close-range finish.
City's unbeaten run now stands at six games, with Keith Millen having presided over four wins and two draws during his caretaker management.
Paul Hartley had to be alert to block away Darren Pratley's goalbound drive after just two minutes.
City improved and grew in confidence as the first half progressed. Nicky Maynard and Danny Haynes managed to get in each other's way when Jamal Campbell-Ryce cleverly chipped a pass over the top. Haynes got there first but sliced his shot wide of the mark.
Orr fired further wide when picked out in space in the penalty area by Liam Fontaine's raking cross.

Jamal Campbell-Ryce limped off with a hamstring injury |
Then on 23 minutes Campbell-Ryce got the better of Ashley Williams and cut into the penalty box. The former Barnsley winger's cross was twice helped on by Haynes and, from just ten yards, Maynard stabbed the loose ball wide of the post.
Swansea responded with an Orlandi free kick from 30 yards that curled wide of Henderson's left-hand post.
Stephen Henderson - making his first home start for City - was called into action for the first time on the half-hour as David Cotterill got the better of Bradley Orr to begin a swift counter attack. Cotterill's clever pass was flicked on by Pratley into the path of Orlandi, who was clear on goal. Henderson made himself bit and denied the Swans forward smartly with his body.
There was a fumble from Dorus De Vries when campbell-Ryce fired goalwards from 30 yards but the Swansea keeper was able to make amends by gathering up at the second attempt.

Marvin Elliott goes sliding in during the Anglo-Welsh derby |
After the break both sides exchanged possession with too much frequency, leading to a game with a real lack of opportunities.
Hartley whipped a 25-yard free kick over the crossbar on the hour, and Ivan Sproule was soon thrust into the attack, replacing an injured Campbell-Ryce.
David Clarkson was also introduced but the chances remained few and far between. Cotterill sent a free kick straight into Henderson's gloves, before being replaced to ironic cheers from the home crowd with 13 minutes to go.
With Swansea's defenders tiring, Sproule was using his pace to cause problems. And that proved key to the winner with six minutes left.

Nicky Maynard celebrates the late match-winning strike |
The Northern Irish winger skipped past David Edgar down the right flank and cut inside before crossing along the six-yard box to hand Maynard a simple tap-in.
Elliott saw a long-range shot blocked away, and then Clarkson headed wide from Sproule's cross with a chance that could have sealed it.
It didn't matter as Swansea just couldn't find a way through, and the final whistle was greeted with a huge cheer.
