Bristol City 1-1 Leicester City
Adam Baker reports from Ashton Gate
A remarkable finish at Ashton Gate saw City snatch a stoppage time lead only for Leicester to equalise seconds later for a share of the spoils.
After an even first half, City piled on the pressure after the interval and knocked on the door a number of times.
They looked to have been rewarded when David Clarkson lashed in from inside the box on 91 minutes, but there was late heartbreak at Ashton Gate again as Lloyd Dyer raced down the other end and fired in a leveller.
City began the game with a 4-3-3 formation as Chris Iwelumo made his home bow with the recalled Danny Haynes and Clarkson alongside him. Lee Johnson and Marvin Elliott were recalled to the midfield, and were joined by Cole Skuse.
Martin Waghorn almost gave the visitors a dream start, latching on to a ball over the top from Lloyd Dyer and rounding Dean Gerken. Liam Fontaine was able to scramble across to cover for his keeper and deny Waghorn with an inch-perfect tackle inside the six-yard box.
From the resultant corner Matt Oakley's driven shot was thrashed away amongst a crowd of bodies in the box.

Chris Iwelumo made his home debut in a three-man attack |
Gerken let a tenth minute free kick from Paul Gallagher slip from his grasp but was relieved to see it drop wide of the goal.
A well-worked free kick from Lee Johnson picked out Louis Carey unmarked on the penalty spot but the skipper lifted his volleyed attempt over the top. Soon after Marvin Elliott saw a shot from the edge of the box deflect narrowly over the top.
Midway through the opening period a mazy run from Dyer left City's defence scrambling. After executing a perfect one-two with Wellens, Dyer advanced but was tackled by Lewin Nyatanga just as he prepared to fire goalwards.
Gallagher, clearly confident after his hat-trick against Scunthorpe at the weekend, was then presented with a gilt-edged chance when Wellens whipped a cross towards him unmarked at the back post. The striker took aim but could only send his header at Gerken who provided a superb parried save.
After half-time City really went at Leicester and two minutes from the restart Haynes looked set to put the home side in front. Sent through on goal by Clarkson's pass, Haynes advanced on keeper Chris Weale, chipped the former City custodian but watched on as the ball hit the side-netting.

Danny Haynes puts pressure on Leicester skipper Matt Oakley |
Waghorn volleyed wide from Michael Morrison's cross, before City survived a major scare on 63 minutes. Oakley ran and played a one-two with Waghorn before stabbing a shot goalwards. The ball bounced back off the foot of the upright and back into the waiting arms of Gerken.
After Skuse had limped off with an injury - replaced by Ivan Sproule - City went close through Haynes volleying wide and Clarkson curling a shot narrowly wide of the goal from the edge of the box.
Clarkson looked destined to the make the breakthrough with 13 minutes left when substitute Nicky Maynard - on for Haynes - crossed towards the back post. Johnson's shot was blocked by Weale and the goal was gaping as the ball rebounded to Clarkson, only for the Scot to slice his attempt wide.
City continued to knock on the door as Johnson fed the ball to Sproule and he cut it back into the path of Clarkson. The Scot took aim and forced Weale into a smart low save.

Lewin Nyatanga wins the aerial battle with Yann Kermorgant |
Dyer used his pace at the other end to tease a cross to Andy King but fortunately for City his shot was just over the top.
No one saw the stoppage time drama coming as Clarkson pounced on a loose ball in the box and fired City ahead.
But like often at home, City suffered a last-gasp equaliser - this time within 72 seconds of taking the lead - as Dyer popped up in the box with a low shot into the far corner for 1-1.
Clarkson almost beat Weale with a chip with the last kick of the game, but it wasn't to be for City - who were applauded from the field by their supporters.
