The club will be once again be running a loyalty points system in the 2011/12 season.
Loyalty points will again be taken into account when allocating priority on ticket sales for in-demand cup or away matches, at the club's discretion*.
Points will once again be awarded for attending away games, home games and for exiled season card holders who live more than 75 miles away from the club.
Points already accrued will be rolled over from last season's games only, with points earned in 2009/10 now becoming void.
In summary:-
- Season card holders will get a once-off 25-point award.
- The club will split away games into three groups, with different points allocated to each one. Red games are worth four points, amber worth three points and green two points. Points are allocated using a range of criteria: distance from Ashton Gate, how easy the ground is to get to, when the game is being played and attractiveness of the fixture. See below for a full list.
- One point will be awarded for each home game attended by club members**.
- Exiled season card holders who live more than 75 miles away than Ashton Gate (qualification: car journey in miles, Google maps) will get a once-off three-point award.
- Loyalty points may also be awarded on a once-off basis, at the club's discretion, throughout the season; for example, City Foundation members who are season card holders receive an additional five points (on request only) as part of their benefits.
Fans must hold a valid smart card for 2011/12 - saeson card or member card - to qualify for a loyalty point award. See below for complete list of awards.
Supporters are advised that up-to-date loyalty points totals are shown on each fan's account information after logging in using their client reference number to the online ticket site.

For in-demand games, sales priority will be in this order: season card holders (with set number of points - to be set by the club), all season card holders and members (with set number of points - to be set by the club), members and general sale. Loyalty can only be claimed if tickets have been booked in advance using a smart card.
