BEAT THE QUEUES WITH TICKETFAST

Posted on: Mon 08 Nov 2010

City fans will be able to print out their matchday tickets at home from this season* using TicketFast.

The fast, simple and convenient facility is now back live on the online ticket site. - after a short-time offline.

It is ideal for fans who do not want to wait for their tickets to arrive in the post, or queue to collect on a matchday.

Fans choosing this service when purchasing their tickets will be sent an e-mail containing a PDF ticket which should be printed before travelling to the game.

The printed ticket - which features a bar code - can then be scanned on the smart card reader on each turnstile.

Group managing director Doug Harman says: "We are delighted to offer this extra service for our supporters.

"TicketFast  has been successfully used at a number of grounds up and down the country, and our supporters ay well have used this system in their daily lives when booking rail or coach tickets, for example.

"We are constantly reviewing the service we offer to our fans, what it means is that fans using the TicketFast option will no longer need to wait for their tickets to arrive in the post or queue up at the ground on matchday."

Supporters are advised that a postal option remains available up until three working days before a game if they do not wish to use TicketFast¨. After this point ALL online applications will be TicketFast only. The postal service costs £1 and also incurs a £1 booking fee per ticket.

Collections are only available to club members using the client reference number on their smart card. This service is free. Because they already use a smart card for entry, The TicketFast option does not apply to club members buying tickets for themselves. Members should instead click 'COLLECTION' in order that their smart card is activated for the appropriate game.

As a result of the TicketFast service being brought in, some changes have been made to booking fees for the 2010/11 season:-
