KIDS GET BOOKED FOR CITY
The Ashton Gate Study Centrewas turned into a mini-bookshop for the home game against Doncaster Rovers.
The club's community team worked in partnership with the National Literacy Trust to help promote children's reading.
The NLT joined forces with Penguin to hand out free books to children and parents from Sea Mills, Bishopsworth and Hotwells primary schools, who watched the match from the Community Stand.
Books were also given away to six lucky season card holders in the Atyeo Stand.
Trust spokesman Irfan Masters told bcfc.co.uk: "This scheme is all about making the connection between football and reading, as well as trying to access people who may not have many books at home."
