City have launched a major new fund-raising initiative for the 2010/11 season.
Scrumpy's Christmas Appeal for Bristol Children will be the prime focus of of the club's charitable activity in the first half of the campaign.
It aims to raise at least £25,000 by December 25th* to benefit the work of three outstanding local charities: Children's Hospice South West, The Jessie May Trust and The Rainbow Centre for Children.
Fans can make donations by post - cheques made payable to 'Ashton Gate Limited - Scrumpy's Christmas Appeal'; or online via a dedicated Virgin Money Giving site: virginmoneygiving.com/bcfccharityoftheyear. Collectioon buckets will also be located at the stadium.
In addition, the club has organised some great events for supporters of all ages, which will be attended by members of the first-team squad.
These include a charity quiz, charity evening and Christmas party (City Redz only) - full details will soon be posted on bcfc.co.uk and virginmoneygiving.com/bcfccharityoftheyear.

Group managing director Doug Harman says: "We are delighted to support this very worthwhile cause and I hope all City fans will do their very best to back the appeal.
"If every season card holder donated just £2 we would reach our target very quickly."
