It's been another good week for the team as we extended our unbeaten run to five games and secured four more points over the Easter Weekend.
Our game against Nottingham Forest was an excellent Coca-Cola Championship encounter that I really enjoyed being involved in.
There weren't lots of chances in the game but both sides played good, attacking football and it was hard-fought with plenty of crunching tackles. In the end a 1-1 draw was probably a fair result.
It was quite a different affair at Sheffield Wednesday two days later and I was stunned by how poor the Hillsborough pitch was.
I can't believe it can help them in their bid to avoid relegation. They really put us under pressure in the second half and Stephen Henderson, on his full debut, made a host of good saves.
We played our best football in the final 15 minutes when Nicky took his goal well to take all three points and Clarky also hit the post.
We'll be looking to extend our good run tomorrow in the Anglo-Welsh battle with Swansea City.
The atmosphere will be cranked right up and the match is a big one for both sides. They are looking to cement their place in the top six and we can halt that. We need to put the pressure on them and another three points could lead to a good end of season.
Finally, you may have spotted my role in an April's Fool joke recently. Yes, that's right, as good as I am at darts I haven't qualified for the 2011 PDC World Darts Championship!
On the morning of April 1st I was contacted by our media department to be part of a little prank. I knew it would sound a little far-fetched, but we caught out a few fans.
I had quite a few e-mails from supporters wishing me luck in the event, and our ProZone analyst Stewart "The Dougall" was also caught out.
But somebody even more important than that fell for the gag hook, line and sinker. Want to know more about the story? Read my Captain's Column in tomorrow's Well Red match programme!
Enjoy your weekend.
