A very quick update from me this week - as a I write ahead of my return to training!

I spent Tuesday doing a running session on the pitch at the training ground, and then another hard running stint yesterday.

At this minute in time my injury is more important to get right than to come back for the team.

I've had it in the past years, rushing back and then having the problem go wrong again. I'll be following the specialist's advice and stick to his rules.

If all goes to plan I'll train today and tomorrow, then do my own things over the weekend, before getting back in with the lads on Monday.

I'm targeting games to return and don't expect my place straight back. I just want to be available for selection and then I'll take it from there.

Fan Question: I'm hoping to be interviewed for an important job in a few week's time, and obviously want to look and feel my best. I have been after a tie from the club shop that is similar to the one Gary Johnson wears, but to no avail. Do you think if I gave £50 to Children In Need one of the team would send me their one? Phil, Chesterfield.

I don't know. All the lads have only got one each, and if we don't wear a tie then we get fined (more than £50). I know they don't sell them in the megastore as they were part of the club suits. I'll have to find out and get back to you.
