CARDIFF GAMES ARE MASSIVE

I very much enjoyed my weekend off, although most of our plans were hit by the bad weather.
We wanted to go cycling at the New Forest, but with the fear of floods and being trapped down on the South Coast, we decided against it.
On Friday I just did some stuff around the house. Then on Saturday me and missus went cycling up Leigh Woods, got covered in mud and hosed each other down afterwards, before attending my auntie's 50th wedding anniversary celebration the following day.
Now focus has returned to football and a massive Severnside derby game against Cardiff City on Saturday.
I've played in many City v Cardiff games in the past and this one will be no different.
There will be a decent atmosphere as always, although in recent years it hasn't quite been the same because of the coach-only option for travelling fans.
They've got a strong side, an excellent midfield. Cardiff score goals and create lots of chances so it's going to be hard for us.
As a Bristolian, it's the kind of game I relish. As a youngster I never knew too much about the Cardiff derbies but it was only when I broke into the team and played in one that I realised what they were about.
A lot of people I speak to always look at this fixture and it's the main result they want.
Meanwhile, England have enjoyed two great results this week. I haven't seen much of the action because it was on Setanta, but I did see the goals on the news.
The team got off a great start against Andorra in Barcelona, and then last night's victory was outstanding - becoming the first team to beat Croatia in Zagreb in a competitive game.
We still have the Press moaning like mad but that's the English all over and I don't really want to go much further because it gives me the hump!
Enjoy the weekend.
