We were gutted to lose our unbeaten run and go out of the Carling Cup at Crewe on Tuesday night.

It came on the back of such a great all-round performance at Coventry. I have seen the match video from Crewe and it's probably not as bad as first thought.

We had a lot possession and got the ball in their box, but we just weren't good enough on the night.

The second goal was from a breakaway, and as the lad broke from wide I was covering my man in the middle. That meant it was hard for me to get across and he nicked in before me to go through and score.

I'm just glad I didn't bring him down because it would have been a needless sending-off at that stage in the game, in the Carling Cup.

The first goal was good link up play by Crewe but perhaps we should have done better to prevent it.

I think Saturday's game will be a lot different against QPR at home, with the crowd behind us.

Crewe played some good football, but I think QPR will play a similar game and be a little more physical.

A lot of money has been spent at QPR. Sometimes that works at football clubs and sometimes it doesn't - only time will tell.

Fan Question: I'm sure the boys are not worried about all the talk outside of our club, about 'second season syndrome', but does this fire up the boys a little extra to show them we are above all that? Andy, Hartcliffe.

We spoke about it at the start of the season and it was one thing we didn't want to happen - second season syndrome. We've already proven a lot of people wrong with our start so far but there's such a long way to go. We haven't talked about where we want to finish this year, which just want to continue this campaign how we played in the last one.

Fan Question: As we know a few of you like your darts, so who's your tip to win the nine-dart challenge? Aaron Barton, Frome.

Well I know Scotty's got off to a good start. Maybe Jimmy in Media has a chance - although I've already beaten him a few times and he hit 90 with his nine darts. I haven't had my official go yet, but that's because I've been complaining the board's too low, the darts are pony and you aren't stood far enough back.

Enjoy the weekend!
