OPPOSITION
Nottingham Forest are all but guaranteed a play-off spot now and still harbour outside hopes of sneaking into the top two. An almighty 20-game unbeaten run in the middle part of the season helped propel them into the promotion hunt. Forest have the largest collection of quality forwards in the division. City fans know all about Dele Adebola - last season's player of the year at Ashton Gate, but they also boast Robert Earnshaw, David McGoldrick, Joe Garner, George Boyd and Dexter Blackstock in their squad - whilst Nathan Tyson is likely to be injured. Ex-Yeovil midfielder Chris Cohen is another man to watch, but another key midfield man Paul McKenna is out for the season.
MANAGER
Billy Davies, the 45-year-old Glaswegian, has been in charge at the City Ground since January 1st 2009, having replaced the sacked Colin Calderwood. He arrived from arch rivals Derby County but no one has held that against him, especially given the radical changes he has made to the squad - and the fact he saved them from relegation last term. Also enjoyed managerial stints with Motherwell and Preston North End - where he succeeded ex-Scotland national team boss Craig Brown.
