OPPOSITION
Barnsley line up with Jon Marcken and Daniel Bogdanovic in attack, although Iain Hume is another threat - and he started on the bench in the Tykes' 1-0 defeat at Ipswich on Saturday. Icelandic midfielder Emil Helfredsson is on a season-long loan from Reggina in Italy and offers plenty of flair, as does one-time City target Anderson de Silva. Stephen Foster is their leader in defence.
MANAGER
Mark Robins - often noted as the player who "saved Alex Ferguson's career" with a vital Manchester United goal in 1990. Ex-Norwich and Leicester, as well as Rotherham United and even Bristol City (on loan) in his playing days. Cut his managerial teeth at Rotherham United and did brilliantly despite a heavy points deduction, money and stadium troubles. Moved to Barnsley as replacement for the sacked Simon Davey in September 2009 and has guided them well away from the danger zone. An outside chance of reaching the play-offs.
