OPPOSITION

Plymouth Argyle has been in the relegation zone for much of the season and Pilgrims fans are starting to fear the worst. They face City without a win in six matches, but have Rory Fallon - the clear dangerman. The New Zealander enjoys games against City and has scored four times against them in the last four seasons. Club captain Romain Larrieu offers experience between the sticks. Bradley Wright-Phillips, Jamie Mackie and Alan Gow all offer attacking threats for Argyle, who are desperate for points right now.

MANAGER

Paul Mariner rejoined Plymouth as head coach in December following Paul Sturrock's move upstairs at Home Park. Mariner had only moved back to England two months earlier to assist Sturrock, with his side struggling in the Championship. Mariner has a wealth of coaching experience in the US. He was a legend at Home Park during his playing days, and also had spells with Arsenal, Ipswich Town and Portsmouth.
