MATCH PREVIEW: IPSWICH AWAY

OPPOSITION

Ipswich have been arguably the most inconsistent team in the Championship this season, and that's the reason why they are still trying to stave off relegation in February time, currently lying three points above the drop zone. The Tractor Boys have failed to register back-to-back wins all season. Gareth McAuley and Jon Walters are both very highly rated.

MANAGER

Roy Keane made his name in football as Manchester United's no-nonsense captain. His early years were spent with Nottingham Forest but following a £3.75m switch to Old Trafford in 1993. He won seven Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League in 1999 - despite being banned for the final itself. After speaking out of turn on MUTV, Keane departed Manchester to join boyhood club Celtic - where he helped them lift the SPL title and League Cup in 2006. Internationally Keane earned 66 caps and scored nine goals, but will always be remembered for walking out on Ireland at the 2002 World Cup because of what he claimed were inadequate training facilities. In management Keane started at Sunderland and took the North East club from the bottom of the Championship to the Premier League within 12 months. He kept them up too in the following season, but after a tumultuous 2008/09 campaign, Keane stood down in December following a 4-1 home defeat to Bolton Wanderers. In April 2009 Keane was appointed Ipswich boss, replacing Jim Magilton. His first two games in charge - at the end of the 2008/09 season - resulted in wins, but it's been difficult ever since.
