Chew Valley
Chew Valley Development Centre, established in 1997, currently hosts 200 young boys at weekly coaching sessions.
The Centre is co-ordinated by two UEFA 'B' licensed coaches Dave Hedges and Ian Rossiter. There are also around ten other coaches, all FA qualified, that coach various groups (aged six-16).
All coaching is carried out under FA guidelines and in a safe environment, essential to the youngsters. In June 2004 the Centre achieved FA Charter Development Club status as recognition for the quality of provision they provide.
With an aim to provide quality and excellence, the Centre takes great pride in helping local boys progress to as high a standard as possible.
The Centre currently has ten youngsters signed up with City's Academy, plus a number of others on trial.
