Lee Johnson's Bristol City have endured a tough season in the Championship but look well placed to seal another year in England's second tier. Careful rebuilding will be required in the summer, whatever happens, and some fine-tuning to the squad to make sure the same disappointing results across the winter don't happen again in the next campaign.

Lee Johnson has admitted that he believes Tammy Abraham’s value has shot up following his loan spell at Bristol City. The Robins head coach believes the Chelsea striker is set for a huge future in the game, according to the Daily Star.

Bristol City will need to be on their best behaviour when Barnsley come to Ashton Gate for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash. The match officials have been revealed and to say that the man in charge likes a card would be an understatement.

Gennaro Bifulco has become Bristol City’s first signing ahead of the summer transfer window – at the age of eight. The youngster from Cheltenham will train with City’s academy after impressing scouts and signing a deal with the Robins.

The PFA have announced their respective teams of the year for the Championship, League One and League Two, with Brighton, Sheffield United and Plymouth well represented throughout the divisions.
