Cheltenham Festival

Our top tipster is back for the much-anticipated Festival.

It’s the final day of the Cheltenham Festival and our resident tipster Phil Pocketts is back with his bookie-beating shouts.

The EFL's main sponsor, Sky Bet, is once again offering perks for those choosing to punt. A losing wager in the opening race will see gamblers provided with a free bet refund*, so make sure you place your bets with Sky Bet

Punters backing Phil yesterday will have been quids in after he selected five winners, including 14-1 each-way shot Road to Respect, while Un De Sceaux (7-4) and Let's Dance (11-8) made it a hat-trick of winners as the Willie Mullins yard bounced back to form with a vengeance.

Elsewhere, Jury Duty and Sub Lieutenant both placed, rewarding each-way backers by being placed at 9-1 and 8-1 respectively.

Defi Du Seuil could get punters off to a dream start today in the Triumph Hurdle at 1.30pm, priced at 9-4, while Pocketts is tipping Renneti in the second race of the day.

It looks tough to look beyond the favourite Death Duty in the 2.50pm and the same applies for On The Fringe in the Foxhunter Chase at 4.10pm.

In the much-anticipated Gold Cup at 3.30pm, the popular steeplechaser Cue Card will bid to make amends for a late fall last year, but will face tough competition from Willie Mullins' Djakadam, a two-time runner up.

However, Pocketts is backing Cue Card's stablemate Native River to experience Gold Cup success for Colin Tizzard, and is also tipping Sizing John as a worthwhile each-way bet (15-2).
