Sean O’Driscoll says a sell-out away end at the Cardiff City Stadium tomorrow (1pm) will have a positive affect on the players.
The Robins have the chance to complete the double over their Welsh rivals for the first time in ten years, following up on the 4-2 victory at Ashton Gate in August.
Over 2,000 City fans will be making the short trip to South Wales, as City look to record their first away win under O’Driscoll.
The City head coach told
Bristol City Player: “The away support at every football club usually see the positives rather than the negatives.
“There is no point in supporting your team with you’re going to have a negative influence on them but it is up to us to give them something to be positive about.
“If we get 2,000 City fans that support the team for 90 minutes there will be a little bit of Bristol in Cardiff - which is something we want.”
